The assignments on that play were really interesting. I think Kearse and Wiggins ended up in about the same zone and Smith came over of the cover 2 look we showed pre-snap to cover the TE at linebacker depth. No doubt in my mid that if Mack keeps his feet we defend that pass or if Wiggins/Kearse is assigned to the TE and Smith stays back that he at least makes the tackle if not discouraging MacGuire from even makin the pass.

It's three years removed from high school. He was red-shirted last year. I hope he stays more though!

He was amazing. I'm glad that most people are remembering his performance as a shutdown corner on an island. NFL will be licking their chops watching him this season.

Tank was not as highly recruited as Mac but Clemson really have two shut down corners. Peters gets the nod over Tank right now because Peters is pretty good in his own right and an experienced senior. Don't sleep on Tank. Talked to some of the players and they have stated Mac and Tank are the best in man coverage.

If Alexander is on an island by Choice--does that mean he is on an island with Choice, or did Choice choose to have his own island? I want an island.

So Green got 9 catches all while being covered by Alexander? Does anyone have the stats on this? Was Alexander covering him on all 9 catches?
