Tigers slip in AP Poll

Read Update »

Poll voters are stupid and inconsistent.

If you want to move Uga up to #6, then why should Clemson drop, considering the game was at Uga?

Although I do think moving Uga up to #6 is a sign of respect for Clemson.

Also shows me voters watch highlights and maybe read boxscores, but don't watch games.

I cant understand why UNC is ranked higher than us and struggled with Liberty?

I also thought UGA looked better than Alabama and FSU on Saturday but no way anyone puts them above those 2

Well do you understand OSU being ranked #7 after struggling with Navy, and have lost their starting QB for the season. The voters are going to find away to interfere with the play off games just as they always have. Nothing has changed with the play offs, just a different way of doing it.

Sadly, I believe you are right. I have no problem at all with ugay moving up a little, although they shouldn't move much for beating a team ranked below them, but we shouldn't have dropped like a rock after losing to a much higher ranked team at their place. Go figure.

I'm just glad to see the coots dropped as far as they did. I figured they'd get the old SEC bias because they played an SEC team and would only drop 4 or 5 spots.

SEC bias still helped them

We lost to the higher ranked team ON THE ROAD, and we're still ranked lower.

+1! You are all over this one, but we just have to help ourselves. Nobody else will help.

They didn't drop as far as they should have after getting hammered in their own house by a lesser ranked team. JMHO

UNC ahead of Clemson. What a slap in the face.***

There's something in these hills.

I will never understand the love for UNC recently.***

For some reason that we haven't grasped yet, the voters love those teams that will cheat and the ones from the sec. I guess that is that hand of one is the hand of all BS. But the voters surely love the bad boys that will cheat their ASSE$ off to get ahead. In college Football, the good guys will be disrespected!!!

Well, we get to slap back pretty soon, don't we?

Head-to-head is a great measuring stick.

Cannot wait.***

It will be a really good slap in the face of the pollsters when we whip the daylights out of UNCheat. I love it when the pollsters and the pundits get outed.

Doesn't matter right now... This is the New Playoff Era, we'll play the games, then see where we're at... Everyone needs to relax

We lost. We lost bad! So, why are some of you whining and griping????

Re: FB Update: Tigers slip in AP Poll

Agree. We need to stop comparing who lost worse or talking about how we were three points out. They kicked our butts and they could have had more. This year they are that much better. Move on.

Hog shite.... they tried and had a holding penalty. punks.***

No way UCLA should be ranked better than LSU

Posted: Sep 2, 2014 7:55 PM

.

This is great. let UNC stroll into DV with a great ranking

Posted: Sep 2, 2014 8:07 PM

We will need to have a good win against a ranked team to help with our SOS. I am not talking playoff spots or anything, I am just talking about team perception and bowl placement

That is what happens when we lose games. You dont usually lose and go up in the poll.

Surprise surprise....amazing we're still ranked!

Shocked to be in AP Poll - do not expect to be after FSU

Posted: Sep 2, 2014 10:40 PM

Don't get me wrong - I hope we improve and win, but I expect the FSU team and home field advantage to be tougher than Athens.

Texas A&M is the best team and its not close.***
