Seriously, Stoudt threw it right to a covered WR...

that was no fault of the WR.

The WR's were AWFUL tonight. They didn't catch. They didn't block, and I have seen middle school players have better route running to gain separation. They did not belong on the field with the effort they put forth this evening!

I agree

The receivers were horrible most of the game and it was fundamentals that they were horrible at. And to me, that goes back to coaching.

Incorrect...Cole threw a good pass but as a receiver you're not suppose to wait for the ball to come to you...YOU attack the ball. G-Hop literally just jumped straight up and the safety jumped right in front of him. Not Cole's fault BUT he could threw it just a taaaaaad bit harder but that's still on the receiver to make plays on the ball. Cole and Deshaun were pretty #### good if it weren't for too many dropped passes

You are right we should. His play calling needs divine intervention!

With our OL

Watson better play. The OL is a dumpster fire and we will need a mobile QB to beat good teams as we can't block a driveway with a 53' truck. Stout with a decent to semi-decent OL is probably fine but that is not this years team.

Oh yea, I forgot we played a cup cake to open the season.

Realistically, our OL is mediocre

Posted: Aug 30, 2014 10:42 PM

It may hold up against lesser competition, but will eventually collapse against elite competition. The only solution to the problem is recruiting, but that won't help this season.

I watch every single play of our game, and I think that we played really sloppy, then we would play great until 4th quarter. I still think that we have a chance to upset FSU in two weeks....

I suppose miracles can happen

Posted: Aug 31, 2014 6:06 AM

Beating FSU is our only way to save the season at this point.

Yep, you said it...

Posted: Aug 31, 2014 6:03 AM

And conditioning is lacking too...

..... well the future better arrive real soon unless we can

Posted: Aug 30, 2014 10:27 PM

play in slo motion .... cause Stoudt is slow .....

null

what worries me as much as the wide recievers is our running game....

We are a hard nose tough RB away from being a good team that can play right with the good teams. Guys without a ### good RB, it affects the whole ### team. Defense can't get a rest, and the Receivers are pressured when team know you can't run on their front four. If Tajh hadn't been our tough RB and our QB last year, we would have been in trouble like right now. Adam Choice would play every down next week with what I saw from the RBs today. He would be ready when we go to FSU. Choice would be the only Back in next weeks game.

Our running game is atrocious, and I think that DJ Howard is the absolute worst RB that I can remember us ever having. Our coaches has to put him back on the shelf if we are going to have any success against anybody. Somebody, anybody, please name a worst RB that we have had in many years. I really can't think of anyone!!!

Yeah DJ has always been the lame duck in the flock

Posted: Aug 31, 2014 4:05 AM

and I really didn't see how he could have made a miraculous transformation like has been said lately.

Running game is bigger concern

Which speaks to O line, the biggest concern.

Yaw need to give Cole a break-he did some nice things tonight with some nice runs and throws(remember our receivers dropped some catchable balls)-in the second half our field position was terrible so the GA defense took some chances that worked and things snowballed!
Not to mention that this was his FIRST start in a hostile environment-remember Taj struggled in his first couple of starts against much inferior competition!

I am pretty sure that DW is going to have his fair share of bad picks during his time at Clemson.... I still think Cole deserves a chance

He had his chance tonight....

He looked pretty good in most of 1st half when we were ahead. WR's hurt him. But when the going got rough, he looked scare and his happy feet got worse. He could not get a pass off due to wasting time dancing and looking for one wr. That kid was scared to death in 2nd half

Oh I agree with you about Cole. When UGA learned we wasn't and didn't have a running threat what so ever. UGA turned the heat up wide open on Cole. Tajh or no other QB we have would have slowed their pass rush down. They dared Cole to throw the ball. The one player UGA knew couldn't hurt them, was our RBs....

Cole wasn't the problem... He actually was

The on consistent, positive piece of the O.
