Blanks is very likely to redshirt. I think it's the 2nd injury, not the ACL, but I'm sure the ACL didn't help.

Blanks said his knee wasn't allowing him to explode from a stationary position, or something similar to that. :)
The article stated it was mostly his idea to redshirt unless he was desperately needed. ALSO, should graduate after 3 years at Clemson!!!

with the idea of a redshirt. Like was said above he didn't feel that explosion and also he didn't like the fact that he has not been out their busting his a** with his teammates all summer. It was hard for him to watch them put in all that work and him sitting on the sideline. It didn't seem fair to him...at least that is what I got the article of few weeks ago!
