I for one am glad you are stopping. You are one of the most ignorant posters ever. You obviously think very highly of your own opinion, unlike the rest of us - RockHillTiger

You, me and every other clemson fan on here. I was expecting

the worst but it sucks that happens to anyone especially right before the season starts at like spending a ton of money on tickets to a game then finding out you can't go last second, yeah you can watch it on tv but it's still not the same.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I lol'd at your post

Aug 28, 2014, 4:17 AM [ in reply to Mother of... almost had a heart attack. ]

Bc I almost had a heart attack too. I thought it was a starter at first. Good luck in the recovery process Oliver. I how reinjuring the same knee you injured in high school isn't going to ruin your career like Sam Bradford. I feel for the both of you

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Darn....sorry to hear.

Aug 27, 2014, 7:17 PM

Hope for a complete recovery and the doctor says he can play in the future.

This kid is a CLASS act. He has changed his whole body since

Aug 27, 2014, 7:22 PM

he arrived on Campus. He was a favorite in the football office and just a good guy that deserved better than an injury. I hope OJ comes back stronger and better than ever.

Aug 27, 2014, 7:29 PM

2 guys in like 3 classes in a row. Would really like a fifth this class and then five more next class.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Dude, you are so much smarter than. ..

Aug 27, 2014, 7:42 PM

....everyone else.

Don't know why you haven't been offered a position on staff with your genius insight.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

2 in the last 2 classes, but 5 in the 2012 class.

Aug 27, 2014, 7:47 PM [ in reply to Losing OL left and right, this is why you don't take ]

TLDR: You're wrong.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Yup, 2 in 2 is bad enough thanks for pointing out the

Aug 27, 2014, 7:55 PM

correct number.

Really need to beef up the OL numbers glad to see a good crop this class.

Wow the attack dogs are out today! Internet commandos in full force.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Yes, calling "out" a guy on an internet board is crazy....

Aug 27, 2014, 8:32 PM

...compared to a guy on an internet board calling out a very successful coach.

Dude, you continue to show logic and intelligence on a level that I'm shocked you even grace us w/ your presence.

Re: Losing OL left and right, this is why you don't take

Aug 27, 2014, 8:05 PM [ in reply to Losing OL left and right, this is why you don't take ]

We only have 21 seniors and we currently have 23 players who will go on scholarship next year and we are taking at least one more DL. We have three senior OL and one Junior who transferred. If we followed your plan and signed 5 a year, since most OL redshirt we would end up with 25 OL on scholarship. What positions would you take those 7 to 8 scholarships from? Almost all D1 programs carry 17-18 OL.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: Losing OL left and right, this is why you don't take

Aug 27, 2014, 9:07 PM

We should take 4 Olinemen every single year. That's 20 over 5 years. Given that you can always expect to lose a few players due to natural attrition, transfers, etc. you'll likely maintain an average 16 to 17 players on your roster at all times. What we've done the last two years by signing only two guys is absolutely insane.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Question Mr. Expert

Aug 27, 2014, 8:23 PM [ in reply to Losing OL left and right, this is why you don't take ]

Which position(s) on the team are you willing to permanently undermanned at in order to carry the number of OL (25 - 5 each class x 5 eligibility years) you want to carry? Think carefully, because unlike a WR or RB who doesn't work out there can be moved to defense is nowhere to move an OL who doesn't have what it takes to contribute.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I literally almost fainted. Hate that for OJ though.

Aug 27, 2014, 7:42 PM

Sorry to hear. Knee brace question?

Aug 27, 2014, 7:56 PM

Good luck with surgery and rehab.

Don't our Olinemen wear protective knee braces?

I guess we are still doing some hitting.
