my first Clemson game was agaisnt Furman in 1979...

My dad was from North Augusta and his old friend Bart Smith met us up there. Frank Gibbs who ran a junkyard in Augusta got us tickets.

I remember the tiger paws on the road and that we stopped at a drivethrough window up there to get breakfast and the place sold baloney biscuits! wonder if that place is still around.

It was my first college football game. Remember a drill team at halftime. Year later UGA won the MNC and my dad got us season tickets and it was all UGA from there. We did however go to about one clemson game a year with Bart and his Brother Lee Smith.

Great times.

I remember going to 3 home games in 1974. One was Georgia and tigers won.

I for one am glad you are stopping. You are one of the most ignorant posters ever. You obviously think very highly of your own opinion, unlike the rest of us - RockHillTiger
