Yea, it's pretty amazing those schools have dropped off the way they have. Wake Forest has fallen off the face of the earth as well, but they're a small school without much history when it comes to football. UVA is a 20,000+ size school and NC State is over 30,000. They're both located in strong states for recruiting talent. I know a lot of their talent gets poached by better schools *cough*us*cough* but they should still be able to field better teams than they have.

I expect UVa to be in the top half of ACC at the end of the year... why because they have recruited better than hald of the ACC for the last 3 years and they have the same coaching staff as last year for the 1st time since London tbecame HC. He can coach but you need a staff that can as well...
Clemson changed a bunch with the hiring of Chad Morris and again with the hiring of Venables. We have a more talented Roster than UVa but they have some too, probably only behind Miami as far as talent in the Coastal.
NCSt has a lot of work to do but I do not think they will be last in the Atlantic.. they should be better than Wake.
