Does he get a diploma with his commitment or does he have to wait 4 years?

Good for him. UNC is really up and coming. And the experts predict them to win the coastal every year now.

They never live up to expectations...

He's just scared...

Nope but it's pretty obvious when we do. We got cain and reconsider McCloud and campball over sign type guys. Not to say Inc wouldn't not have beat us out in the end but we made it easy on them. And to prove it here is an article 12 days ago that states we backed off
http://www.shakinthesouthland.com/2014/6/10/5794074/dabo-swinney-camp-confidential

That article made no mention of OT Burrell???

I wouldn't mind getting Baily to keep him from USuCk but I certainly wouldn't lose any sleep if we got Burrell...

As babaganoush showed, STS has made it clear the staff had backed off this guy and are pretty much only looking at Ray-Ray McCloud and George Campbell as WR targets for the 2015 class. Of course this could chance, but for now, that's where we are.

He is still a 4 star?

I don't believe Clemson will take another WR in this class outside of George Campbell if he fell our way. We don't need another.

While on his visit to chapelhole.....

someone apparently broke into his vehicle and left a unc diploma on the dash.

If forever a Tar Hole, then you might want to make sure you

spell it as two words next time...since that's the proper way to state it. But don't worry, there is probably a class you can take up at that great academic institution where the entire course syllabus is learn how to spell UNC. Of course you won't need to attend class.

I think this is a good thing because had he commited to Clemson, we would have a 0% chance of getting George Campbell. Personally, I think Campbell is a better overall prospect and looks more like a tiger to me anyway. I would much rather have him.

Well fine. We don't need no yankees anyway...

You know, them Yankees from way up there in Norf Carolina... ;)

No big loss here. We will get someone even better.

He was slipping in the recruiting rankings anyways after some camps. Good hands though for a possession guy but many were saying he was not very quick. I'm sure he will still be a fine player.

He wouldn't make our 2-deep roster next year.

This is one of the guys early on

I was hoping to get... His tape seemed like 5 star material. Guess he felt like he couldn't beat out Neon Deon for the top spot.

He's good though. Wish he would've went out west or something.

Clemson backed-off Mollette after the Cain commitment.

Posted: Jun 23, 2014 8:25 AM

Clemson will probably take just one more WR and the top target is Ray Ray McCloud.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

be careful. you will be chastised by leadcoot for stating the truth. it is no offense to mollette. you can only take so many per class.

That's exactly right.....

Posted: Jun 23, 2014 8:36 AM

No offense to Mollette. In fact, he's a quality player. This was just a business decision. Clemson is only going to take one more WR and they want to fill that position with a slot-type receiver. Ray Ray McCloud is the top target. It's just that simple.
