Elite tackle Burrell impressed with Clemson visit
One of the top tackles for the 2015 recruiting class was in Clemson this past weekend after making the trek from his home in Virginia with 5-star prospect Tim Settle and Clemson commit Chad Smith. What did he say about the visit? Where do the Tigers stand? What does he say about The Hill? Full Story » |

Speaking of Region what is up with him?

He is a red-shirt Junior? who does seem to be scratching the two deep. Wasn't he a 4 star o-linemen? I know he showed up to Clemson out of shape but he has plenty of time to turn it around.

Hopefully it'll be this year, but overall it feels like he's underwhelmed a bit. WT-F do I know though.

I read somewhere Region has dropped about 30 lbs and working hard in the weight room.... it would be nice if he could turn it up a notch or 2 or 3 and at least crack the 2deep this year...

He trimmed way down, and his pictures taken at Dabo's camp last week showed him helping and looking much trimmer than ever. He looks more like an OL is supposed to look like now.

A great article; thoroughly enjoyed it. He's obviously giving us an oppurtunity to land him! That's all we could ask. Hoping to get at least one big name at the cookout! ( like always)

Matthew Burrell looks like a Tiger!! Love the smile!!

Love the dreads. I would love for him to make a decision to become a Tiger soon!! It would be great if he committed before the opening so he could recruit others to our family. The stronger we are the further each player will go.
He and coach brooks look to have hit it off as friends first. Love the fact our coaches welcome family with open arms becoming involved in helping our players become strong men of strong character in all areas of their life. That's why Clemson is so special. We all want best as a standard.
Could you imagine having the mentors that these blessed young men who become players will have rooting for them in mind, body, soul, classroom, and on the field? I would love to have any of these guys who have been mentored by this group running my company. Once they decide they will be winners by just joining the family.
I believe many of these guys could be leaders in the NFL too as "Best is the Standard."
Matthew your smile is infectious and will only be an asset as a representative of our family for years to come. Your films are quite impressive and reflect the work you have put in already. We all are excited about your family is coming to your new life long home!!!

I believe "The Hill" has gotten Mr Burell's attention ! Probably thinking in the back of his mind how to handle running down it. Hopefully, we will see him tackle that project next season !!

Imagine Clemson with a nationally revered OL...

I struggle to comprehend a future Clemson Tigers football team that may boast a national top 10 offensive line. If Burrell signs, this may become reality. If Feaster signs and plays with a top 10 OL under Chad Morris, then look out.
