How come some of the prospects aren't working out?

Jun 13, 2014, 6:34 PM

Are some of the players coaches telling then not too in case of injury? Or is there another reason?....TIA

If you already have an offer, no need to work out.

Jun 13, 2014, 6:42 PM

The kids who don't have offers are trying to earn one. For guys like Austin Bryant (or Albert Huggins) with an offer, they instead use the time to learn about their position coach's coaching style and get to know more of the staff/players/alumni. It's more social and observational for them.

If Spencer Region has gotten serious and has gotten in
shape, he could be the most talented offensive lineman
we have. I'd rather see him at 230 rather than 240, but
if he has muscled up in the weight room. I'll take 240 any day. He is incredibly talented. I hope the light bulb has gone off in his head. If so, he can be a force of nature. We battled Alabama and Auburn for him. He could be awesome.

He'll never be 240...... 300 and he'd be skinny boy

We could really use a serious Spencer Region. That could change our whole offense.

I'm sure slumdog meant to use a 3 instead of 2. :)

Under the radar beast at OLB. Plays w my son at Northview HS in Johns Creek. Fast and plays well in space. Also a nasty, nasty hitter. They play in a pretty competitive league in Georgia 6A. I think he has offers from Elon and some other small schools. He is about 6'2" or so and has tons of room to add weight.

I think the kid is a player.
