congrats to him on his decision and to our coaches for getting him. exactly what we need to do while Va and VT struggle- go into their backyard and get good players.

Ricky Deberry is a 4* 6'2 237pds LB from Richmond, Va who has around 48 offers already as a junior. He has Clemson in his top 5 favorite colleges. Ranked number 9th in the nation at LB and number 7th in the state of Va. Number 123 overall nationally by rival.

That would be a great bonus, but signing this young man is a tremendous success in and of itself. He is a gifted player with huge upside. He has the frame and quickness to develope into a stellar DE at this level and beyond, IMO.

davidhoodsteele on this story.

She was able to get the interview that other writers couldn't get.

"IDIOT POSTER OF THE MONTH SO FAR...GWP-- You have won IPM Award for your failure to completely comprehend a clear post & then choose to attack someone who points out your ignorance. While you are not yet in the same No Class Catagory as deRoberts, ClemTiger117 & Tigerdug23, you are getting closer to the Sewer Dwellers." - coachmac

We are red hot on the recruiting trail right now. Looks like kids are starting to realize what we already knew: Clemson is THE place to be.

Very solid commitment for the defense. 2015 class could be the best recruiting class ever ! Hats off to all the Coaching Staff. Need to stay on top of all these recruits and make sure no one falls thru a crack.
