Let's do this!

I heard that Cole is up to 230. Is this true? If so, he is a prototypical NFL quarterback. Anyone have any info?

Could go sooner than Boyd- like SJSU's David Fales or better

If the OL can keep him upright it wouldn't surprise me if he has a good, consistent season and gets drafted higher than Boyd. Stoudt reminds me of SJSU's David Fales (taller, leaner, pocket-passer) except that Stoudt will be in a higher-visibility, tougher competition league, though Fales played in a more NFL-like pro-offense.

Game planning Stoudt

if I were the opposing DC, its one game plan. Send more
than Clemson can block.

Unlike Boyd, Cole may be quick-thinking enough to make D pay

One of Boyd's weaknesses was failing to recognize and quickly adjust protection and the play to the D's lineup, blitzes, etc. thereby making the defense pay. Gruden dinged him for it (as I predicted) and I think it's part of the reason Boyd was the 13th QB drafted. I have a feeling that Stoudt (thanks in part to growing up with an NFL QB dad) is going to do better in that area.

Great Observation. This can be his greatest asset this season at Clemson.

If he has RB's and a tight end or two who can catch the ball, he can do that.

Good point Razz. Another thing I think is, Cole seems to have a little more poise in the pocket. I was a Kelly fan, due to the offense we run, but Stoudt has done nothing except take the team down the field for a TD almost every time he too the field, and he protected the ball with good judgement while he did it. I think we will be just fine at QB.

I think he's potentially a sleeper, but he's got to have some help around him: RB's, TE.'s and some semblance of an OL.

Definitely a better passer. If we can just develop a really dangerous running game. But if don't come up with a tough, effective OL, none of it will matter. I don't se the talent there, but someone enlighten me.

If we can get Treyshone Dye healthy, then let them go ahead and do it. If they sell out on the rush, someone has to be open. Who is this big 230 lb RB (with speed) that I keep hearing about? He had been a pro baseball player.

I've heard that he's a better runner than he's given credit for. Is he up to 230?

Does it bother nobody else the OC doesn't know the difference between your & you're?

No. He's a football coach, not an English professor

Good grief!

While you guys discuss trivia, again does anyone know if Cole up to 230? Have you heard anything?

If the device he is using is like mine....

He was a math major. Now you're in the know. We don't need no stinking grammars.

Yes, math major as in too + too. What could go wrong?

You still comprehended what he said, ¿Que no?

Everybody does that. Move on.

I've been wrong two times, but this isn't one of them.

People who expect perfect grammar tweets bug me more

Criticizing words in a tweet is really silly. No one expects them to pass Webster or any grammar guides.

Good grief.
