You know - Boyd is still the Man and represents CLEMSON as well as anyone could ever ask. You could tell that with all of his accomplishments and hard work at the college level, that he felt he should have gone sooner. But everything happens for a reason, and Boyd might have just landed exactly where he has the best chance to make it as a starter someday. We can only be happy for the man.

Congrats Tajh. You're always in our family.

You could certainly see and feel a lot of bloody raw emotions with Tajh in that interview, and we can't blame him. I think that the majority of Tiger Nation were hurting with and for Tajh. My heart bled tears of pain for him. I don't think there is any doubt in anyone's mind that Tajh is a H&ll of a lot better QB than some of the QBs taken long before he was. He wasn't the best, but he was better than more than a few of them IMO. I do believe things always happens for a reason. And one good thing I feel came from what ever the reason was, is that Rex will have patients with Tajh. And the Jets will bring Tajh along in training him to be the type of QB the Jets want and need. I don't believe that Rex would have taken Tajh as a charity pick if he didn't see potential in Tajh. He could have done that as a free agent, and cut him in mini or fall camp. So by Rex drafting Tajh, it may have been blessing for Tajh. I'm positive that Tajh has a serious chip on his shoulders right now. And that chip will push Tajh harder than he has ever been pushed, and he will work harder than ever, just to prove the nay Sayers wrong....

Good for him. Class kid and a terrific Tiger. He will end up being the Jets' starter.
