Why in hell would the ACC want to play the ACCCC in Brooklyn NY????? Denies a lot of fans in this area an opportunity to attend.

Lot's of exposure, long term it will help the ACC. The ACC is about to start dominating basketball again. The Big East stole all there Northeast exposure is just a shadow of it's former self. Clemson fans don't attend games in Little John and very few make it too the ACC, most that go will go to NYC.

I'll drive to Gboro for the tourney but going to NYC is too much unless you make a vacation out of it.

Yes but, who in the crap would want to go on vacation in NYC at the first of March. I personally wouldn't want a vacation to NYC in any month....

They aren't 'moving it' but adding a new site to the rotation. Multiyear deal could simply be 2 years in a row or every 4 years.

But, Greensboro is a lot easier/less of an investment than NY.
I doesn't take much planning ahead (for me) to go to NC. It would take much more time and money for me to travel to NY.
I guess it's a cost-benefit situation for any location though

Thanks for all of your viewpoints. I don't like it being played in NC either. I was just thinking about the difficulty most Tiger fans would have going to Brooklyn if they want to go.

Well, they have a place to go and drink all the booze you want to drink. They're called bars. IMO, alcohol just isn't a beverage that should be served at a place where folks take their small to early teen children....

the attendance, numbers will go way down. This will make the ACC tourney more irreverent than it is now.
