I just think Boyd will be much better as a pro than these guys are rating him

#87 really isn't bad for Taj. That's late 3rd round which

is pretty favorable compared to some other sources.

You think 4th sounds really weird?
He'll between 3rd and 6th IMO.

Ron Cherry was doing the game

We had 7 consecutive holding calls on 8 different people

Hence, 4th and 83

...and there goes Boyd climbing back up into the first three rounds...after this ultra-reaction in which he became the draft's Unflavor of the Month and was listed by some as "undraftable".

Whatever. The guy broke scoreboards and records for fun at Clemson, but he'll never amount to anything in the NFL. Okay.

And yet Blake Bortles, who had one half-decent season at UCF, played absolutely zero defenses of any note (well, except for South Carolina, who stuffed him) is skipping his senior year, and is rated ahead of the likes of Johnny Manziel.

They try to apply math to it, but sometimes this whole draft evaluation process looks as arbitrary and random as a run on Wall Street.

Good point. As much $ as these teams are betting with

you would think that they would take the time to look at film and opponents.

Of course KS proved this wrong when they took a Central Michigan player #1 last year that hasn't really panned out. Great combine, great measureables but who did he play in college?

Zach Mettenberger above Tajh - LOL. Only think funnier

Mar 12, 2014, 1:29 PM

would have been if he had put Logan Too Tall Thomas above Tajh.

I really really dislike Phil Steele and think......

Mar 12, 2014, 4:09 PM

.....he wouldn't know football if one hit him and broke his nose. First, every respectable NFL draft analyst thinks Thomas is a high second and Mike Mayock of the NFL Network thinks he could have sneaked in to a late first round. Plus Breeland has been anywhere from second to third so for him not to even be on this guys list is laughable at best. This is why I don't even come close to reading anything that has Phil Steele name on it, he disses Clemson every chance he gets. So to blank with'em and his list....
