he is a hall of fame coach is just icing on the cake. I am sure there some people on this site that thought(hoping) DRad was going to Fire Jack today when he presented him a signed game ball in appreciation for his accomplishment.

I would not be one of them. He has been an outstanding coach, and I'm sure nobody wishes we had achieved even more success than he. He is a class act, period, end of story.

I agree that Jack is an excellent coach, but for whatever reason our recruiting had slipped. Recruiting has picked up recently and I think LeCroy deserves a lot of the credit.

hired his predecessor too, but LeCroy was definitely a great hire. Jack has generally had very good assistants (as is evidenced by how many went on to head coaching jobs).
