Kelly Bryant - NC State

I guess kids have their reasons but why in the world would NC State be his leader. As talented as he is, he would thrive at Clemson. Either at QB or WR.

I saw him play against Daniel this year. He can play some football. He's not Michael Vick or Johnny Manziel but he's a playmaker with the ball in his hands.

I've heard a lot of good things about this guy, but when you look at the QB position here you can understand why NC State is his leader. After this year Cole will be gone and that will leave Chad K and D Wat. That is some serious talent right there. Also D Wat will only be ahead 1 year at the most if not the same. I don't think we need another great QB this coming year, maybe the next.

Bryant is from my hometown. He just transferred to Wren this past year. He has been recruited by Clemson as a safety since his freshman year. He left Abbeville bc he didn't want to run the option at QB, or play Defense. So I can definitely see him choosing NC State despite his first cousin Martavis influence, especially if they are dangling a full time QB roll at him...

We may not have offered him at QB

I'm not sure, but I've heard a lot of schools have offered him as a DB and he's giving preference to the schools giving him a chance under center.

Wait for it.....wait for it....the O-line screamers will rear their heads on this.....

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

We all knew Clemson planned to load up in 2015

Jan 31, 2014, 9:48 AM

the "O-line screamers" as you so eloquently call them, were "screaming" because you don't want to be in a situation where you have to "rebuild" with a huge O-Line class every 3rd or 4th year, when you could bring in a solid class of 4 or 5 every year and "reload" instead.

I'm very excited about the potential 2015 offensive line class and think we have a chance at a lot of very talented players, but once they get here I don't want to see them forced to start before they're ready just because we don't have much depth in front of them.

Not a flame but what OL has been forced to start?***
