Just an opinion

Jan 21, 2014, 3:37 PM

Most ppl knew Thomas played out of place at Clemson.
So in fact, I see him playing guard at the next level.
Possible draft round? I see late 3rd,early 4th.

That's where I think he'll go

He was great at OT because of his athleticism but at 6'3" he is a prototypical guard and played there very well in the 2011 year. Wish him and Shately the best. Shately's only weakness is his foot speed. His strong as a bull straight up but when it comes to moving around he's not as good which may hinder him.

agree. i think he goes 3rd round to a team taking him strictly as a guard. I bet he had a long career. Hell of an athlete who was not playing his best suited position at Clemson but had to due to poor recruiting and development at the position from a 2 deep standpoint.

Did you know he played tight end in high school? He truly is a great athlete, and the coaches deserve kudos for his development.

Can't be worse than Byron Bell

Utility lineman. Draft him Panthers!

Are 34 3/8" arms really considered long?

Jan 22, 2014, 10:53 AM

I got measured at close to 38" this weekend.

I know I have long arms just never considered them to be really long.

Thomas will be a valuable NFL player

He can pretty much play every position on the line but center, and with limited roster space, that type of versatility is coveted.
