biggest one was Derrick Hamilton.. he should have stayed and when he was drafted he said he wished he was.. I remember him saying on record that an agent told him more than what he was suppose to be or something like that.. 2 games played.. terrible.. he was a monster at Clemson.. a Sammy like player.. had all the tools never had the qb Sammy had but he was amazing.

No Qb for Hamilton?

Charlie Whitehurst and Woody Dantzler weren't good Qb's?

The odds are definitely stacked against them, I think back to D-Ham and what happened to him and how one more year would have really boosted his stock, I just hope it works out for MB and his family.

I just hope the same thing doesn't happen to MB, another

year and he could've been a first rounder with 10 million guaranteed----that helps you with the future if something goes wrong and your career is shortened.

Unless

he got hurt, or next year's QB wasn't as good, or he had trouble facing double teams as the #1 WR next year with Sammy gone, or his grades slipped and he became academically ineligible.

Odds are he would've gotten better next year and gotten drafted higher, but that's a whole lot of things that could go wrong for a guy with 2 kids.

D-ham

Was lazy without the ball. He ran poor routs and did not like to block. Better have ALL skills in shape we you go or you will not last in the league. Just b/ c you get drafted doesn't mean you even make a team!

I think he figured he'd catch on as a kick returner even if he wasn't ready at WR.

Then I'm pretty sure he hurt his knee after his rookie season.
