Sam Wyche visits Clemson, talks Chad Morris and Clemson offense

Former NFL head coach Sam Wyche was an interested observer at one of Clemson's bowl practices last week. What does he say about Clemson' offense? How does it remind him of what he did in Cincinnati? What does he say about Chad Morris? Photo by Kirby Lee / US PRESSWIRE Full Story »

I don't think that's him. I was basing my statement on this

Dec 27, 2013, 1:23 PM

In 2002, 2003, 2006, 2007, and 2008, Wyche volunteered as the offensive coordinator and quarterback coach for the Pickens High School Blue Flame in Pickens, South Carolina. He helped the Blue Flame get to the second round of the playoffs in 2006. Wyche was a registered substitute teacher in Pickens County schools.

He still helps out, he was back this year for the first time in a few years. He was a member of the Pickens County Council and I think he stopped helping at Pickens during that time. He also used to substitute teach when I was in school at Pickens. He did magic tricks and all kinds of cool stuff, though I don't think he ever taught us anything.
