5 or 6 coaches in the spring. there were a lot of folks that thought it was a death knell yet here he sits, 1 victory from the title.

Clearly, he is one of the reason they had success during the BB years. That's another one of my Big 12ish delusions.

I think it's a close battle between Cut and Fisher for COTY.

I think Gus had a great deal of luck being at AU and having recruited most of the players on this team. The players had lots of luck with UGAy and Bama.

However, Gus didn't have the QB and WRs to run his offense the way he really wanted to run it. I give him the nod for making do with what he had.

It should be between two coaches. David Cutcliff did more with less than any coach in the country. He should be the choice. Gus Malzahn turned a loser into a national title contender.
