The "worst seed" thing is silly. [4]

Yes it's the highest (numerically) seed we've ever been, but seeing as how there haven't been this many teams in the ACC for very long that is a silly thing to argue. Indeed we are next to last, and we've been last quite a few times in history.

Nothing to hang your hat on at all. But not exactly "Oh no, we've never been this low before" territory.
