Error on Ellington

I have thought for the past two years he is THE BEST pass blocking RB in the country. He always picks up the correct guy and squares up on him. More than holds his own against LB's/CB's/S blitzes; he doesn't match up well against DT/DE's but very few RB's do. If that is a consensus NFL assessment of his pass blocking skills, someone needs to learn to watch tape with their eyes open.
I thought most of the other comments were pretty accurate on all three.

might be the best pass-protecting RB in the draft, that he "squares up people and gets after them".

Then, nfl.com's analyst has a completely different view, saying that his pass-blocking skills are lacking, and that he "lays down at the feet of defenders instead of holding his ground".

Humorous.

Call me crazy but...

I just can't see Hopkins run a 4.40 40;it would be nice,
but I see his time closer to a 4.55. Still should see
him going late 1st/early 2nd rd,IMO.

If he runs anywhere below 4.5 I think he's a 1st rounder easily. If he runs in the 4.5s he could go anywhere from 25-40ish and if he runs a terrible time like 4.6+ (which I don't see coming) he could fall. I think he will be one of the first guys taken in the second round though. He'll go to a team that could use him right away.
