Exactly!!! When recruits that far away from Clemson start to think about their family watching them play, they change their mind. There will be more negative money used out that way than positive recruits gained.

You don't seem to be used to national recruiting. Google, Oregon Football roster. You will see Alabama, Florida, Texas, Iowa, Nebraska, Michigan, Arizona, a bunch from Hawaii, the most from California (which makes sense, but it's not nearby) That would be like Clemson having a bunch from Pennsylvania...there looks like 20 or less, actually from the state of Oregon. Their roster is a who's who of states.
Notre Dame, the same thing. Boise State, same thing, and quite a few from Texas. I'm sure there's quite a few more examples among the major schools, outside of the south. They come in to pluck the low hanging fruit, since the south generally appears to be more hyped about High School and College Football.

pretty much seems that way. I like DSG decommiting right after his visit. Yeah I realize they probably told the kid to if he want to look but it gives a bad vibe anyway
