What a key "recruit" for us this year

Jan 7, 2013, 11:16 AM

Wish we had him earlier, but he's going to be huge for us soon.

I think 90% of the guys coming out of HS could use a year

Jan 7, 2013, 11:33 AM

to grow and mature physically and mentally.

Unfortunately, the attitude of most really talented kids coming out of HS today is that they expect to start immediately and be headed for the NFL in 3 years, so when they get slapped with prep school purgatory or just put on red shirt as freshmen, it's tough on their ego.

In the long run, almost all of them benefit whether they realize it at the time or not.

We need him more on the edge than outside. Hope they didn't make him too big to play End

An athlete is an athlete

You read b/w the lines in these things, and you can see certain people have the dimensions and reflexes and coordination and their bodies "get it."

These types really aren't as common as you think, either.

Sounds like this guy has the goods.

He's gonna start in Goodman's spot

Jan 7, 2013, 11:58 AM

along with Reader, Williams/Jarrett, and Beasley/Crawford

We're loaded at D line for next year, and hopefully we'll bring in another big time DE/DT (Adams...Lawson?) who can contribute right away

If Tajh comes back, along with Nuk, it'd be hard to see us not in the top 4-6 at the start of next year. I'd say we're one of the hottest teams in the country in terms of growth over the last 4 years

I can see us going all the way next year. It all depends on the first game...A big win over UGA would be a huge momentum boost to start the season, much like Auburn could have been this season. Luckily, we've got them at home along with FSU.

I'm expecting big things in the near future. Go Tigers!

Do not forget about Watson...

also he is not too big to play DE... they might be too slow.
