Sorry Kirk but I disagree. Boyd far outperformed Bridgewater when you conside his stats and the fact he was running for his life most of the night.

I'm waiting to hear from Lou, Mark and David Pollack, all of whom picked LSU. Lou even laughed when the ACC was mentioned. Hey Lou, remember you last game coaching at SC? Not only did your team loose the game but also lost the brawl. While he might be promoting Catholic values now, he has a short memory when it comes to his days at SC. Go Bama!

Kirk's Wrong Again!

Bridgewater's performance was impressive, but what Boyd faced was much more of an endurance trial against a much tougher defense. Florida kept giving the ball to Louisville a pick 6 and a fumble recovered near the goal line that Bridgewater couldn't capitalize on. Our Defense only gave us one turnover right before the half at midfield, the rest of the time our Defense was just shutting down LSU. Boyd had to drive the length of the field multiple times. Boyd had to face adversity, lost one of the best play makers on Snap number 2. Bridgewater didn't have to face any of that. Boyd #1 no ifs, and or buts about it! Go Tigers!

One wore them down, the other shut them up...

Both were impressive performance, but Tajh had to play a more complete game against a much tougher defense.
Reverse the opponented, and LSU would have taken down Cincy. Clemson, assuming Sammy didn't get injured, would have put WVa Orange Bowl-type numbers on the Gators.

After battling the entire game. Tajh took over in the forth quarter and took Clemson the lenght of the field to score for the final 3 drives to win it. the Louisville game was over at halftime. If Tajh would have had the time that the Louisville QB had he may have lit it up for 700 yards and 100 plus rushing.

Herbstreit is posturing for next year. His so-called praise

for Clemson has evaporated with the return of Ohio St. from probation. Anything he can say or do to influence future recruiting in a subtle way, he will. Boyd's game was far and away much more impressive, physical, and clutch than any QB performance this post season. Anyone that can't see that has an obvious agenda. Just ask Les Miles.

the only one of the group that is the least unbiased when it comes to Clemson. He praises us when we do well and criticizes when we don't. Being in the top two performances is not a bad thing. I think the only reason he gave the edge to Bridgewater/Louisville because it was a BCS bowl.
