If this is what we/Clemson are going to be facing with Morris with every coaching job that comes open. Dabo should have himself a back up plan in place. One that has a great OC on the Hook that is OK with being an OC. Look after Clemson for the long haul. With the money that we are paying Coordinators, we should be able to find that. ### being a program that displays a Coordinators for auction every couple of years....

I think that coordinators auction is still better than the coordinators scrap heap that we had for a while.

I am constantly amazed at some of the post on Tigernet. Do some of you folks think that Dabo doesn't have a backup plan? Head Coaches are always evaluating people and making a list, and updating it each year, for just such possible situations that we are facing. Those that don't understand the management process always deal in the "fear" factor, and Dabo understands the management process. Here is a thought, "Worry is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do but you never get anywhere." We will be fine.

What?

Of course Dabo has a backup plan.

And why would you want a OC that doesn't want to be a head coach? Would you be ok with someone telling you that you can have a job if you agree never to seek a promotion?

If you ARE NOT a program that loses coordinators to head coaching jobs, then you ARE a mediocre program. I don't mind losing coordinators to promotions if it means that they have been successful enough here to deserve it. What I dislike is lateral moves, but this would not be lateral for Morris or Venebles.
