Some receivers should be playing on both sides of the ball

Everybody tells me this is just to complicated --- what nonsense --- great players play better than average players even when throwing darts at the local bar --- so how could a great receiver who runs faster than everyone else on the field not be a better defensive back than an average college defensive back? How can this be true when certain players are capable of playing football and baseball and basketball --- but not two football positions? Beam me up Scotty.

Nuk was as good a D back as receiver - at least in high school. He was a real missile, I saw him play D in HS. They could have made him "either way" when he got to Clemson.

When someone opens their mouth and stupid falls out that they have never played a down of football past the pee-wee level.
Why doesn't it happen? Because its ignorant. You do understand these kids have a think called stamina right? They're already playing 80+ plays on offense, then you want them to be cover corners too? Of course you'd be the one screaming at them when they don't have the juice to get under the deep ball in the 3rd & 4th quarters.
How about you leave the football coaching to the coaches, you you worry about something you know at least a little about......like baking.

That is the very reason they are called fans (spectator). Some have all the answers while exercising their cheek muscles only and never breaking a sweat or breaking a finger nail.

That takes the stamina argument out of the equation. Perhaps only in the redzone or for key 3rd downs when you must have a stop.

Just because you can run routes faster than anybody on the field,(and catch a ball),doesn't mean you can tackle.

I wouldn't mind seeing Humphries on the defensive side of the ball and from the sound of it he is open to playing anywhere on the field. A true team player. But the coaches are much better at evaluating players than fans so I trust their judgement.
And I agree Nuk is likely a better DB than some that we put out on the field but there is no way he could play at his intensity on both sides of the ball. Think about how less productive he would be if he never gets off the field strictly from a stamina standpoint.
