he is off the payroll now. The stipulation was that he could not collect his annual million dollar welfare check if he took another job.

TB took us as far as he could and now its Dabo's turn...that doesn't mean I can't wish TB the best while still supporting Dabo.

My point was there are plenty who want TB to return

Posted: Dec 2, 2012 1:33 PM

Because after all they think he did a better job that Dabo. The numbers don't show it, but they make a gazillion excuses including how tough the ACC was back then or something...........

I have yet to see ONE person that wants TB to return.

Maybe you could post a few links??

Not sure I can search

I'm not a paying member here so I don't think I can search all fields. At least when I search something as simple as 'Bowden' it comes up with no finds.

Pay 29 bucks to prove your points for a year. you could also make coots disappear with just one click.

Bingo!!***

I guess I'm probably in the minority here but

I would like to see Tommy back in coaching. I have no ill feelings toward him. Yeah he couldn't get us over the hump but he brought us out of the 3-8 season, made us competitive at least, and got some nice facilities built. And oh yeah, he owned the coots. Good Luck Tommy.

I'd like to see Bowden back coaching somewhere, too.

He's done his time in out- of-coaching purgatory.

IMO, USF is the perfect job for Tommy right now.

Him and Rob Spence could reunite.

Yes, he really gave us football respect back.

he would be a good fit at usf---a mid major that just wants

to win some games and go to a bowl----that's what he's good at.

TDP had a little bit to do with the facilty upgrades,

I will give TB credit for raising the standards for recruiting at Clemson. I got tired of reading the newspaper stories about all the CU players that were in trouble with the law. I know, it still goes on, but nothing compared to what was happening before TB.

People forget too that

two members of Bowdens staff were poached by Alabama. He had good assistants other than Spence .Tommy is respected and well liked by most other coaches. He can turn usf around.

He can turn USF around if

he hires good coordinators. Tommy is not an X's and O's guy. Can't do it on his own. I guess I'm saying he would not be a good head coach hire for anybody, and my guess is he won't be a head coach again.

My only concern would be that he would come after Jeff Scott for OC.

He'll do fine if he can get RichRod to be his OC. :-)***
