You still take 3 or 4 a year, it's about building experienced depth not just having depth.

Maybe for a year or two, need to get to where you're taking 3-4 per class so you have between 15 and 20 on the roster (most linemen will redshirt).
You also have to keep in mind that you'll lose guys to injury, as well as lose some of the guys who can't cut it when they (hopefully)transfer to other schools.

We backed off Droogsma because he's kind of a wimp, and backed off Outlaw because of graded I think
|

Yep Outlaw's grades are an issue as is Droogsma's toughness

Well you never know. We all wrote Giff Timothy off this winter and when he was being recruited because he is a 6'6" soft-spoken teddy bear and he was great at RT this year. Held Devin Taylor to 0.5 a sack and Bjoern Werner to 0.

Giff is good but not great

He got abused at times this year, GT and VT come to mind. He's tough in the run game for the most part but he has slow feet which has gotten him beat at times. Anthony and Gor are going to push him very hard next year which is a benefit for us. He will improve with he young guys at his heels and they will continue to get better as well. i really like Giff for how he's come in an performed but I think he might lose his position to Anthony or Gore next year.
