yeah I said that on a post below. It seemed to be sprinkled around the stadium. I was just joking around here

I didn't hear it so much from the students as I did

from the other fans.

I would hope students are educated enough to realize that it is the OFFICE of the President in the oath.

We just got an e-mail from Barker concerning the matter.

Soldiers don't take orders from an office. They take orders

from a person.

Which is whoever is in the OFFICE--

not a constant person.

"Offices" don't invade countries, bomb cities,

torture prisoners, execute civilians...people do.

Romans didn't take orders from an "office," they took orders from Caesar.

Spaniards didn't take orders from an "office," they took orders from King Ferdinand.

Yankees didn't take orders from and "office," they took orders from Lincoln.

Germans didn't take orders from an "office," they took orders from Hitler.

Russians didn't take orders from an "office," they took orders from Stalin.

Chinese didn't take orders from an "office," they took orders from Mao.

And it's not an "office" turning this country into a third-world nation, it's a person.

And I can only imagine those that booed were booing the unconstitutional orders being given by a person, not an "office."

you just named how many totalitarian states in antithesis

of an office held for 4 years?

When Libyan nationals shoved a knife in Gaddafi's butt, they were disemboweling a "person," not an "office."

Interesting - has been a topic of discussion before, but

I thought I would share...
It is only enlisted personnel that have included in their oath the reference to the President. The officer's oath is different as they are required to exercise judgement regarding whether their order is "right."

the crowd loudly booed the first lady.

Clemson Football and Neckcar?

Seriously, Clemson has dropped into the gutter with Neckcar fans?

We have actually dropped into the....

Even the General who was administering the oath smiled at the booing. He knows the truth.

Oh,ok.So now we just need to email everybody that

was there and explain to them that even though it made our fan base look like a bunch of ignorant idiots.....the General smiled,so it's ok.smh

I didn't say it was okay to do it, but even the General got it. Sorry you didn't. Glad there are people like those taking the oath who are willing to put the country first.
