Defensive stops we can be proud of

There was plenty to complain about and plenty of wide open plays that allows GT to score quickly. But defense was more than good enough for the game. Of course I'll always say that after a late safety to helps with the win... No defensive play is sweeter than that.

BTW: just how bad is the inability to score inside the 5?

It seems that I've witnessed far too many missed opportunities with at least three downs inside the 5 yard line. Field goals are fine but still disappointing when it's so close. I'm also not a fan of passing in these scenarios.

I'd try to put a state together to compare, but this would require a play by play database of every game and team I'd want to compare to. Anyone got an idea of where to get that?

get it right; the lb's were covering the qb on the option. the reason tech had big gains with the pitch man was because of poor secondary support. by the way,give the defense credit for a good 2nd half; i have not seen a poorer secondary; maybe they could get some help from daniel high school.

that turns into a 9 point swing of momentum in a close game is never a bad thing, and is only rarely an accident.
