You must be joking. Boston has the greatest sports fans in the world... just ask ESPN. Actually you don't even have to ask, just watch ESPN for more than 2 minutes and "The Nation" will get air time.
I hate ESPN.

They have great sports fans but they all pull for the Pats, Celtics, Bruins and Redsox. Boston is a pro sports town, the college fan base is weak.

When I went up there the first year we played them everyone was asking us where the heck we were going with all that orange on? Then they said, "well, I hope you beat the hell out of those stuck up rich boys!" Everyone seemed to hate BC around there.

absolutely true.bc is not all that well liked,harvard sports are typical ivy-a joke,and boston u hasn't fielded a football team for quite some time.even college hockey is overshadowed by the bruins.believe it or not boston is more blue collar than white which translates to stronger interesr in pro sports.
