Wrong. From your previous posts, that seems to be normal.***

This kid won't be another Palmer type, he moves really

well like a wide receiver. He is definitely not the plodding type. I saw him in high school and even though it was SCISA, nobody could cover, catch or tackle him. You could tell he had some college skills just wasn't sure at what level. I think he can be used in various ways.

The kid can play, good hands & moves.......The reason he wasn't rated high was because he played in the SCISA. I would take several more just like him!!

I thought Norton was pretty highly rated coming out of high school?

Is he still only 200, or is that what he weighed when he signed?

i have nothing wrong with a fast TE, as long as he can outrun the LB'ers it defintly creates a mismatch..Look at last yr in the NFL TE led the way in the offense

If he is only 200 that will not help our blocking. I played D-2 ball as a TE and was 6'3 245. And that was tough blocking the bigger guys.
But I really hope this kid does well. When Thomas Hunter came in he played WR at a small private school then after a couple years really helped our team .

Blocking

Great news about this young man. I have no doubt regarding his talent. My question is, how effective will he be from a blocking stand point. He seems to only weight 200. Lets say that isn't accurate and he has added 20 lbs, he could get pushed around by some big linemen and LBs.

This is why we use him as a catching TE, and use him as a decoy and run the ball to the side opposite the TE.
