The Dominoes at RB are about to fall

Jul 18, 2012, 4:12 PM

4* RB Jordan Wilkins just committed to Auburn. I think they are done at RB.

Potential commitment from Dye soon?

Auburn is our competition for Dye so this may lead him our way, especially with both Kamara and Green supposedly "higly interested" in UGA now that Crowell is gone!!! Should be interesting, hope we at least get one of the elite backs, all of them are very good and could be a huge addition...

I don't know how much interest Green has in UGA, but he just got the offer, I don't believe it is high interest. I think he just added it to his shortened list of 13, making it 14 schools now with a chance.

i think WR dominoes could fall quickly too.

Jul 18, 2012, 4:32 PM

already having 1 WR commit; if we got another one soon, we'd probably only take 1 more after that for a total of 3

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

we can always sign one more WR no matter what

Jul 18, 2012, 6:17 PM

Gawd help us if we'd ever sign a decent OT though or even pursue one

I'm not sure about how many RBs Auburn is taking this year so I'll take your word for it, but I did read earlier today that another RB (3* I believe) has Auburn in his top 3 and he plans to commit before the season starts. So, even if they are taking another RB, Dye might be forced to make a decision one way or another sooner than he anticipated.

Aren't we only taking one more?

Jul 18, 2012, 4:48 PM

If that is the case why haven't the dominoes already started to fall. Dye, Kamara and Green all know we are only taking one more RB but that hasn't sped up their commitment timelines any.

I am so ready for August camp to start so I can start reading about the current Clemson Tigers and not have to hear anymore from you arm chair (or desk chair if you ar at work) recruiting "experts".

Wow. Chill dude. The reason that dominoes might start to fall is because Auburn is filling up, and Auburn was in the lead group for Green and Dye.

Dye was down to a top 2, and if one of the schools is full at RB then that makes it a top 1 a.k.a dominoes potentially falling.

You are right about our standing with RB's not changing, but when their options are starting to close down they have to make decisions soon....

Word of advice: Watch out in the morning so nobody ##### in your corn flakes
