Look at the price of their individual tickets. Not a single ticket below $50 and most are well above that. D@$#!!
2012 Ticket Prices • Season tickets: $395 • The Centennial Suite Club (west side) season tickets are $605. The Touchdown Club (north end) and the Texas Club (east side) season tickets are $545. The Centennial Suite Club (west side), Touchdown Club (north end), and The Texas Club (east side) include prepaid catering. Please refer to the TheLonghornFoundation.com for more information on prepaid catering.
• Individual game tickets Sept. 1: vs. Wyoming (Austin): $60 Sept. 8: vs. New Mexico (Austin): $60 Sept. 15: at Ole Miss (Oxford, Miss.): $75 Sept. 29: at Oklahoma State (Stillwater, Okla.): $90 Oct. 6: vs. West Virginia (Austin): $95 Oct. 13: vs. Oklahoma (Dallas): $110 Oct. 20: vs. Baylor (Austin): $80 Oct. 27: at Kansas (Lawrence, Kan.): $70 Nov. 3: at Texas Tech (Lubbock): $95 Nov. 10: vs. Iowa State (Austin): $70 Nov. 24: vs. TCU (Austin): $85 Dec. 1: at Kansas State (Manhattan, Kan.): $55
I would assume they also charge students for tickets to various sporting events. Clemson gives free tickets to home sports. It's a benefit not all schools provide.

So just add $50 to the ticket price of every game played in Death Valley. Problem solved.

Texas just plays 6 home games and they split the game at the cotton bowl in half with OU. Still thats a lot of money

I was doing the math for CU...

Basically, with 7 home games, if you added $50 to the price of each ticket, then you'd see an additional $30 Mil. TV contract be ######.
No of course that's a tongue in cheek response, as I'm sure fans would balk at that. But the if you raised the ticket price $10, that would be $6 mil in additional revenue (assuming all available seats were sold).

VERY interesting stuff. What I saw that stood out is that Fla State took in almost as much as South Carolina and STILL LOST MONEY. As a matter of fact, if they took in the same amount as the Coots Fla State would have STILL LOST MONEY. What the heck are they spending money on anyway. Also, if Clemson is as big a brand as all the fans say, we're getting screwed when it comes to making money.
