Its sad to say but the team might have just got better.

Say what you will about Milt, but

Jan 31, 2012, 12:35 AM [ in reply to Re: Front Page Story: Jennings Suspended Indefinitely ]

if he wasn't one of our five best players, he wouldn't be a starter. I'd prefer to have my best five on the court as much as possible.

I read posts on here by folks wanting Bobo or Narcisse to get more playing time as if the coaches don't know what they are doing. Its easy to see why both of those guys are fan favorites, but their lack of playing time has been caused by a lack of endurance and physical stamina (Bobo) and foul proneness (both). Hopefully, one or both of them will step up and give us 25-30 minutes of productive play tomorrow night. If not, we may have to place our fate in the hands of a talented (but young and almost completely untested) Bernard Sullivan.

Jan 30, 2012, 9:27 PM

promise, and thought he would be a force to be reckoned with next year. To all the people saying this makes the team better that ridiculous the team just got much worse. Positive spin though, it allows the freshmen to get a lot more playing time and Clemson basketball may be better in the next few years because of it.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Outside of the last game he was much improved since Hawaii.

Jan 30, 2012, 9:32 PM

He looked like he was playing within himself. Now....who knows- I'm disappointed.

Thats what I was talking about give some young players his PT,dont see how it will change anything. It might give one of our freshman the chance he was needing.

say what you want...but he will be missed on rebounding***

Correct. He's been showing what he is capable of lately. I hope he takes care of his class work and gets back to the team soon.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Lets not throw Milt under the bus

Jan 30, 2012, 11:20 PM

We, as Tiger fans, are better than that. I know he has had his moments, several of them in fact, but he is still a Tiger and we should show him support, not joy over the fact he wont be playing

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Who Do You Think

Jan 30, 2012, 11:34 PM

you are saying that? On this board that is what we do! We love to eat our young, diss recruits who tweet something we don't like. We need MORE buses to throw Clemson players under.

you really can't throw a person under the bus who already threw themselves under it. Place the blame squarely on the shoulders of the person and let the outcomes inevitably fall.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

your right, we should kick him out of school

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

The team will be better because of this

Jan 31, 2012, 3:08 AM

Jennings' attitude was a hindrance to the team. He is an immature kid who has a lot of growing up to do. Besides his attitude, he had ZERO inside presence WITH NO TOUCH! He couldn't finish a shot to save his life. After cussing out Coach Brownell when he was kicked out of the game, he should've been kicked off the team then. Good riddance. He was a cancer to the team.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Milt, wishing you the best for a speedy return. As you can

Jan 31, 2012, 5:45 AM

tell from reading this thread, the world is full of idiots, many of whom post on this site.

Thanks for your efforts and contributions on the court, especially on the defensive and rebounding side of the ball.

The vocal minority on Tigernet do not represent the sentiments of most of Tigernation.

True Tiger fans are pulling for you as one of our own.

To the rest of you, get a clue.

I really don't see this making the team better. Sure

Jan 31, 2012, 10:47 AM

Jennings has been a really big disappointment, but it's not like he isn't contributing anything.

9pts and 5.4 board a game. 44% from the floor certainly isn't great, but we are seriously lacking big bodies and depth on this team.

This is just gonna make our front line thinner.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Milton makes it very hard to like him...

Jan 31, 2012, 12:42 PM

I have tried for three years now to like this kid as a Tiger and he just keeps making it so difficult. The All-American status never impressed me and neither does his mental toughness. So many errors in judgement. When you think of all the great Tigers that WERE NOT McDonalds All Americans it makes me wonder about the award. Personally I don't think he would have gotten that honor playing AAAA Basketball in S.C. as opposed to being such a big fish in the SCISA pond. But he would have been tougher I can guarantee you that.
We need Milton and I hope he gets his act together...it's an honor to have that scholarship at Clemson University, don't waste it Milton.
