Is it September yet? Hot dang! Linebackers playing downhill, instead of shouting out adjustments 10 seconds after the ball is snapped. Could this be the return of "smash mouth" football to Clemson, South Carolina? Hat on hat, hit 'em in 'da mouth? Disciplined assignment fb? With our DE's, DB's and LB's, maybe a little development in the interior. I'm pumped. Bring it on P.J, looks like the option may be put back in the history books. S.S., we have a date with destiny, be sure and dress for it.

I like this guy and think he will succeed, especially against ACC offenses. Let's be honest - he's had to defend the Oklahoma States, Texas', Texas Tech, Kansas States, and Missouris of the past 10 years. Throw in some pretty good Nebraska option and I-formation, and he's got what it takes to stop our opponents.

I especially like his demeanor. He seems like someone who's gonna get on a players' tail if they screw up, and he seems intent on play physical ball. I'm looking forward to it.
