I have talked to several people who attended the game Sat in Raleigh and all of them said how obnoxious and rude the wolfpack fans were to them.. One guy said he wife was insulted severat time and they just left.. Yes they killed us, however the last time they beat us was 8 years ago... Please you wolfpack fans live in your own tobacco world.. the best bowl you will go to will be some half a$$ one in washington, charlotte or out west.. How classy you are.. I know I have been to Raleigh before and you rank right up there with those trashy Maryland fans... enjoy it.. your football team is not very good and your basketball team is worse.. so that give you a right to be rude... pathetic...

I attended the game Saturday night, and did not experience anything like you mentioned. I thought the fans were pretty decent. Maryland, on the other hand, is the most classless bunch of idiots in the ACC, with no other ACC school even coming close.

find the behavior is directly related to the starting time of the game. If you go to a noon game the fans are very nice and as the day progresses the drinking increases and the fan behavior gets worse. I went to the game on Saturday and they were very rude.

I went to State/Clemson game in 1972 @ night with 4 State fans.walked in with 2 bottles of Black Jack held by the necks. Had no problems @ all.they kicked our arses that night but not like Sat!!Never a game like sat when U consider the realitive strengths of the teams! with no effort we should have won by 21!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My wife and I went to the game and as we were leaving the stadium, we were also treated very badly by obnoxious NC State fans just outside the stadium in what appeared to be high doner parking areas. The trashy and drunk girls were the ones mouthing off the worse.

Everyone was cool before the game. I enjoyed tailgating up there although it is NOTHING like Clemson and they don't have the women we do. We had a few incidents in the stands that got pretty heated because we had a mix up with the seats. A buddy of mine had to leave to avoid an altercation with a rude old man. If I hear Thunderstruck one more time I am going to stick my head in a toilet and drown myself.

It's funny you posted this... I attended the game as well and I hate to say this, but we had 3 of the most obnoxious NC State fans around us as well. We were seated near the Clemson Band and this just "egged them on" when the score started running up. I enjoy watching good football and the Wolfpack did play some good football and I applaud them for that. I ended up leaving at the beginning of the 4th quarter and endured slurs on the walk out. I enjoy good fun rivalry and I am sure we have our "2%", but I thought it was absolutely classless the behavior we were around.
