I'll have to highly disagree with you on Cat man. He hasn't really improved. He made a great field goal to win the game but also missed one. He's been inconsistent all year.

cat stat comparison:
Nov 15, 2011, 2:50 PM
|
|
2010: FG 63.6% (22 attempts), PAT 100% (34 attempts) 2011: FG 75.0% (20 attempts, so far), PAT 97.7% (43 attempts, so far)
http://espn.go.com/college-football/player/_/id/490871/chandler-catanzaro
sorry, i originally had total points down as the PAT %. fixed it.
(a TD for posting stats? wow, tough crowd.)

That's a great way to spin the numbers. In terms of FG% that's not a huge difference.
Year Made Attempt % PATM PATA % 2011 15 20 75.0 42 43 87 2010 14 22 63.6 34 34 76
Improved sure, but most improved? come on....

I was thinking a defensive player but considering the uproar from some over the defensive cordinator i couldnt pull that trigger.

I like Jaron Brown also. He dropped quite a few passes last year, but he is catching the ball this year. He did not allow the new receivers to come in and overshadow him. Two other receivers from last year have fallen by the way side. That illustrates his determination and competitiveness.

How on Earth has no one mentioned Boyd???

Coty has made leaps every year he's been here.
I'd say: 1. Tajh Boyd - By far for me. He looks like a completely different QB from what we saw last year (and even in the spring). He's made so much progress in such a short time under Morris 2. Jaron Brown - Come up huge time and time again. Catches everything 2. Phillip Price - Arguably been our best lineman this year. From a walk on TE to where he is now, been nothing short of impressive 3. Dwayne Allen - Also surprised he hasn't been mentioned. Sure, he's always been incredibly talented, but he's taken his game to a completely different level and is one of the best leaders on the team. He is playing with a lot more passion and desire this year 4. Coty Sensabaugh - Again, he's gotten better every year and has turned into a very solid corner for us. Very pleased with his progress 5. Tig Willard - Injury plagued him last year (still does to some extent), but he's definitely cemented himself as our best LB

I actually love to watch this guy: Adam Humphries. Geez - every time we go to him - in critical situations - he's MONEY. Breaks tackles too. I don't think he gets enough attention. I guess he doesn't quite fit the 'most improved' niche, but he's so dependable, I wanted to mention him.
JUST PLAY HIM MORE MORRIS!!
