so does this sound about right?

Nov 13, 2011, 8:07 PM

Clemson gets double screwed by refs within seconds of each other....

Wake player holds our guy on the punt return...no call...then a few seconds later their beeeeeyyyyotch of a player strikes a pose with hands on his hip and the second ref does not have the balls to flag him (could td been overturned?)??? All their players were whining to the refs all freaking day.

No

Nov 13, 2011, 8:08 PM

Celebration penalty is a spot foul only if it occurs outside of the endzone.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

ok that's fine, but I would bet my first wife for 3 evenings

Nov 13, 2011, 8:11 PM

that if Clemson was on the road and we struck a pose like that after a punt return for a TD the ref would not be able to get the flag out of his pocket fast enough!!

one thing about it

Nov 13, 2011, 8:16 PM

therre was basically no coverage there on the punt. not sure what our guys were doing but coverrage was very poor then

badge-donor-05yr.jpgringofhonor-74tiger.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

went both ways. Brandon Ford's TD where he jumped from

really are you a Clemson fan?

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

they showed it undisputably on TV, even comented on it***

The ref made the call. He could have been forced out.

Nov 13, 2011, 10:01 PM

No evidence that he was not forced out. None. The evidence that he was forced out was the no call from the ref.

2024 orange level memberbadge-donor-10yr.jpgringofhonor-clemsontiger1988-110.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

defender wasn't near him, he accidently stepped out

Nov 13, 2011, 10:07 PM

ref just missed it

Fiat Justitia et Pereat Mundus

You have that on film for my review?

Nov 13, 2011, 10:09 PM

Cause if you don't then its just your word against the ref's.

I saw everything the TV had to offer and nothing was shown in that corner until just before the ball got there.

2024 orange level memberbadge-donor-10yr.jpgringofhonor-clemsontiger1988-110.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

several replays showed it. Others on here have commented

Nov 13, 2011, 10:10 PM

moot point

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Fiat Justitia et Pereat Mundus

he stepped out of bounds and then caught the ball in bounds

Nov 13, 2011, 10:35 PM

The refs did not call the illegal touching on the field, so that part of the play was not reviewable. They were only able to review the fact that he caught the ball inbounds.

He clearly stepped on the line however then came back in to make the play. He was not forced out.

his bobble head going up and down saying ford was OK. Good enough for me. Right in front of my section.

Nov 13, 2011, 9:51 PM [ in reply to went both ways. Brandon Ford's TD where he jumped from ]

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Of course he was ... clearly shown in several replays. But

Nov 13, 2011, 9:54 PM

there was absolutely no advantage gained. The defender didn't know Ford had stepped out and the official didn't see it. It was a non-factor in the play.

badge-donor-15yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

would have made him ineligible***
