Mistakes are going to show, but it is impressive to recognize he has the ability to re-group and win the game.
Did anybody watch the Tim Tebow Year of the Quarterback? Everybody knocking him, and he made several changes and worked hard, and went first round. If somebody says it can't be done, prove em wrong!
Props to you Tajh Boyd. If you would have asked anybody last year that you would be 8-0 and a Heisman Cantidate, nobody would have beleived it. Keep working hard my man!

Regarding the Tebow special, I thought it was funny everyone

made such a big deal about his throwing motion. In the special (I believe) they showed him actively working to correct it. If it wasn't in the special, then I know for sure that the pre-draft workout he held was primarily to show off the new throwing motion. However, if you watched the Dolphins/Broncos game this past weekend you'll see that Tim has completely reverted back to his "college style" throwing motion where he brings the ball down low by his hip. I guess old habits really do die hard. Makes me glad to have Boyd and his short, speedy release and very nice technical form on the wind up.

You can credit his quick release and throwing motion....

to his dad. I read an article last week that said his dad started working iwth Tajh years ago to prevent a wind up type throw like Tebow and even some of the pro QBs by having him throw at receivers/targets while standing up against a wall....prevents a backward and then forward motion or a windup like Tebow. The fastest "trigger to release" in college and the pros, according to the article, is Aaron Rodgers at .31; Tebow is .56 and most pros and other college QBs are in the .40+ range. Tajh is at .37 seconds!!! Also, his total time from snap to release is at 2.9 on average which is less than the ideal 3.0 seconds.

So if you throw a pick to an All-American corner, and

misread one pass, you're not first round material.
I guess neither is Andrew Luck.
Or the people playing on Sundays for that matter.

Tajh has been great this season, but there are things he...

still needs to fine tune for the next level. Only thing I see wrong with that scouts assessment was his comment on Tajh's deep passes, he already has a nice touch on those passes, so that comment was way off base.

Tajh overthrew a wide open Sammy several times vs. UNC. Also, that's not the first game where Tajh has blown the ball by wide open guys deep.

Well, he's hit receivers right in stride more times than he's missed them. No doubt, he's a slow starter right now, but if teams don't get to him during the first couple of posessions, they won't get him at all. Every game, he's come on and gotten better and better as the game progressed.
That much said, talk of NFL draft status is WAY premature right now.

where he is right now and how that would project to the NFL. Technically he will be eligible for the draft since he is a 3rd year player, but everybody knows he won't be making the jump after one season as starter. It's a good thing he doesn't project as first rounder right now. We still want him for two more seasons, then hopefully he will be a first rounder. Those are things he will improve on and he will be ready for the NFL within the next two years.

In college against the ACC. Tajh has proven to be an incredible college quarterback, but right now he doesn't project as a first rounder.
You think you know the NFL, but you will never know the NFL.
