Stoudt feels confident if his number is called

Backup quarterback Cole Stoudt said he feels like he can do the job if he is called on to start next Saturday's game at Maryland, and credits his work with offensive coordinator Chad Morris as well as his dad, former NFL quarterback Cliff Stoudt. Full Story »

When Boyd went down, there was a lot of confidence in my crowd in Stoudt. He did an excellent job in managing the game and moving us forward.

Very mature & composed for a true freshman-- on & off field. When he first went into the game you could see the "Holy smokes!" look in his eyes, but he settled in nicely and you could see his confidence grow. Very impressive.

Similrlay, when the interview started you could see his nervousness (darting eyes and "like" speech), but he settled in after a couple quesitons, and handled the interview really well too. Very impressive indeed.

Kudos to Stoudt for stepping up. Kudos to Morris too for prepping him.
