When you have this young of a team, what the team needs is that click moment when everything comes together. It will come... maybe against Auburn, maybe FSU... maybe later in the season. All we can do is hope it happens soon. When it does, we have the talent to do great things.

Seems obvious to me that Morris can't believe what he's stepped into here at Clemson. The mentality around this team has been so soft for so long it's going to take a long time to coach it out of 'em. But I like this guy. I hope he can do what he says, and hope Dabo will stay out of his way so that he can do it.

players in the mouth. Be careful for what you ask for.... What we need is mental and physical toughness. Smart players on the field who really have a desire to win. Give it their all for 4 quarters. Walter Payton type players. Walter Payton stayed in top physical condition his entire career. Played hard even though he was stuck on a losing team for many years. He never gave up

If only there was some way to get the players to play tough.

Like, I don't know, but maybe the paid adults we have running the football team could do something like instill discipline and toughness during practice? Maybe that would help?

I hear theres a former coach out in Pendleton that might be able to offer some advice on implementing it. He knows a thing or two about toughness.
