I'm not trying to start anything but I would think that the parents of a player calling a recruit wouldn't be allowed by the NCAA. Anyone know?

Doubt maclains dad is a booster so I think its ok. Also, has maclain enrolled in school yet? Until then he isn't technically a player yet right?

Kelly did say "He is like clemsons personal recruiter, he knows everything about clemson" so it may be something? i really dont care either way, and you may be right about how he's not technically a player yet, just a commitment, i wouldnt think there would be anything wrong with that. Clowney had all kind of friends that play for USC and Clemson trying to persuade him

I really don't think he had a lot of "Clemson friends". If he had, I imagine he would have made a better decision. Friends don't let friends become coots.

His son is a tight end. Kelly is a quarterback. Not a booster, not a graduate of Clemson, the father of an upcoming tight end.
Say hello to Big E and his wife at the games. He is quite an enthusisatic man and his excitement for Clemson football is very, how do i say this, intense!!
