Brad Brownell is a winner at a school that has wanted to be a winner for a very long time. I wonder if our fans realize how lucky we were to attract him. He has already said that he was just looking for the right big time school to join. He has even turned down some bigger schools looking for a school like Clemson. Gooooo Brad, Goooo Tigerssss!!!!

Just who were you impressed with that this kid turned down. From what is published.....Brownell beat the likes of Penn State, Temple, La Salle, St Joes, and Marshall. Not exactly national powers battling over a recruit. Hope for the best, but this isn't exactly an earth shattering recruit.

He held offers from Iowa and Rutgers over the summer but didn't commit early, and they dropped their offers

That says a lot......I don't think anyone is looking for Iowa or Rutgers as any type of power. That they dropped says a lot. Sure the kid will be a decent, serviceable player, but thats about it.
