Great form and technique for a kid with his size

Feb 7, 2011, 9:54 PM

most high schoolers with his physcial attributes rely solely on size and brute strength to beat their man. But he relies more on form and technique (along with his size and strength). Lots of potential for this young man...

Found out that JG is only 16. Birthday late August. He should have impressive senior year. Esp. if he keeps on flippin tires and hitting them with a slegg hammer. I read an article where JG sd. he works out 4 mornings a week at 6:25 with the team, then he works with a trainer 2 nights a week and then in between all that, he stays after school with the tires or to help a heavy weight wrestler practice. Jay once was a good wrestler. Determined.

No doubt the kid can play but he said he kept his commit

Feb 7, 2011, 10:03 PM

silent because there were guys on his HS team that he wanted the college scouts coming to check him out to see play!! How great is that!! It's really refreshing to see such selflessness in a world (college football recruiting) that is generally, right or wrong, "me, me, me." I already like this guy!

pretty awesome considering this kid is what, 17?

i think it's hilarious that after he piledrives these defenders into the dirt they get up wanting to fight him. i mean it looks like he does that to all of them! every play! kid is a machine.

This kid just turned 16 at the end of August! I can only imagine what he'll be in a few years. I feel bad for those high school kids that will meet him on the field for his Sr. season. Great things are coming from this kid.
