nice, but looks like an overall down yr for the conference

Usually there's at least 2-3 ACC teams in the top 10, and 1 or 2 in the top 5. I'm sure, though, that if Clemson ends up having a good season and winning the ACC, they'll end up in the top 5.

The last 2 yrs the acc has had 6 teams in the top 20 preseason polls. it will be down a little at first this year bc a lot of teams lost some good talent, but by the end of the season these good recruiting classes will be playing very well. look for some acc teams to make late pushes and get some hosts spots or be #2 seeds and win their regions. BASEBALL BABY!!!!!

Yeah in the pre-season rankings it does look that way.

Rosanna Danna saying again for me, if it ain't one thing its another!!! Every single time that Clemson has a team of what ever it may be. People/peoples are always saying that it is a down year (As if that is the reason Clemson is selected to finish at the top) in the Atlantic or Coastal region. One day hopefully, some of the negative Nancy's will except that Clemson has been good enough and competitive enough to be a great baseball team. We were good enough to win it all last year. We just didn't get the lucky breaks the coots did. Two outs, two strikes, and one pitch up in the strike zone propells them to a NC. That just as easy could have been US/Clemson. One pitch, one basket, one field goal, one Putt away for Clemson to have been on the very top, in different seasons of course. We are going to start getting our breaks and, I do believe we are close. If you can't feel it, just maybe you're not as Clemson as you think you are. I believe, and I just couldn't be a fan to a team that I didn't think could be a winner. Clemson can and will!!!!

It's a great thing they moved the ACC Baseball Tournament

away from Greenville, SC. It would be a shame if the tournament was playing in close proximity of any ACC school -- giving the school an advantage for attendance of fans.

Oh wait...

"Gamecocks aren’t ready to take college football by storm just yet. They’re not even ready to compete in their own state – Clemson will still own the territory. Gamecocks fans would be smart to keep their heads buried until that time. Avoid talking trash to a much better Clemson program.” -Dustin Tackett
