Not yet. But if he is looking for something that separates the 2, I'll think he will find that "something special" at Clemson. Just saying.

I am, so I will ask.
Are students not allowed to gather around Death Valley during the big recruiting weekends to welcome the potential recruits?
Obviously, it would be great to have flags, signs, cheering, etc. to show the support of Tiger Nation,... but is that not tolerated by the NCAA?

students put up a huge "welcome Taj Boyd" or "Clemson loves Taj Boyd" sign banner in Littlejohn during the Wake Forest basketball game. The admin had it taken down within minutes of it being displayed.

Why should the boy make it sound so mystical??

If he's not looking for the coaching staff that will best prepare him to play football professionally and/or the school that will give him the best education for his future career goals, then he needs to find some common sense.

...it's not just about football. It's about the traditions, potential teammates, facilities, to mention a few, but it's also about life outside of football, possibly the education, mainly the campus life, and such. He has to spend three to five years here. it's more than just the coaching staff to make it memorable and enjoyable. Don't be dumb.

Here's your answer... this is what brings them to Clemson:

“For Florida St. - apart from being my favorite college growing up – I love the city and the people there are friendly,” he said. “I enjoy being at Florida St. Clemson is a great location, and is a beautiful campus. I love all of the coaches and the people that are there. I talk to Coach Steele, and he coached my favorite player (Ernie Sims) and we have a great relationship.”

well, besides, incredibly beautiful campus (try catching fall colors in the mountains in Tallahasse), bearable summers without constant 99% humidity, actual seasons, the Clemson family (check out story of how Ray Ray's little brother was helped by Clemson), etc.
