I now know for sure what I've really known for a long time. I AM A SPORTS FAN!! I watch a video like that with virtually every great sports moment that you can think of, and you have to fight back the tears; and swallow hard the whole way thru it. I get that same feeling at the first football game of the year when the Tigers start down the hill, and I only hope that my wife doesn't see me. Thanks for the video. I AM A SPORTS FAN!

NOTHING is like the first home game of the year - - for that matter, ANY home game (us being Floridians and all) - - I don't even care if my wife sees the tears any more . . . Life's too short to try and stiffle heartfelt good stuff.
AWESOME video ! ! !

Andruw Jones the best glove in centerfield ever

and not one clip. I guess he can only blame himself since he cant hit above the mendosa line. Most media outlets I have heard about Andruw is that he is the best centerfielder to ever play the game. The media is biased in so many ways but I guess all Andruw will have to do is keep winning Gold Glove Awards until someday someone will appreciate greatness.

If he could just come around with the bat he will be a no doubt hall of famer. You thought this would be the year when he hit .400 in spring training and hit 10 HRs with 40 RBIs. Deffinately the best defensive centerfielder in MLB.

Where did I say anything positive about his bat? But yes, in the outfield, Mays couldn't hold Andruws jock. Get past Willie Mays one over the head catch highlight reel then whats next? Andruw has done that plus grab balls 3 rows up into the stands.. over walls. No comparison with the glove. Study up my friend. 7 Gold Gloves and counting!

from Mays... remember the one that he caught over his shoulder while at the same time hitting the wall cleats first? That was one of the best catches I've ever seen, much better than the Mays catch. Jim Edmonds has also had some good ones.

who was elected by 95% of the votes. Also, He had to spend his early years with Birmingham Barons ( I may be wrong but I believe that was an all black team). Andrew has the benefit of getting a lot more pub as he is on tv everyday. Heck, their is no comparison.

Payton was the best... Barry Sanders was better than Emmitt, imo. Imagine the damage Barry could've done with the Cowboys olines Emmitt ran behind in the 90's.

Emmy was way overrated he had great success mainly because of the line he was running behind. Barry Sanders would have crushed every rushing record if he had run behind the wall Emmy had. I will admit that I'm a dallas hater to the core ...heck I watch all their games just so I can enjoy seeing them lose. Every time I hear America's Team attached to the cowboys I want to puke!
All dallas haters should read Bert Sugar's book: I Hate the dallas cowboys and who elected them America's team anyway? I reread it from time to time ...I hate them so much I need counseling. LOL

Wasn't that video part of ESPN's SportsCentury counting down the top 100 athletes of last century?
I know I saw that on tv a few years back.
